This beginner-friendly mini flying UFO drone is a great introduction to drones without the high price tag. Available in a variety of colors and including lights, it’s an exciting addition to backyard cookouts and play rooms everywhere.

Using 5 motion sensors, the small disc-shaped drone senses people or objects in its way and automatically directs itself away from the “danger” by adjusting the 4 blades and motors. You can move it by placing your hands above, below, or on one side to “push” it in that direction. You and a friend or family member can pass it back and forth, or it can be a learning tool for how motion sensors and drones work. To stop it, simply catch the device as it falls and flip it over so it cannot generate lift.

The body of this small drone is surrounded by a hard plastic shell that protects your fingers from the blades and also protects the internal components in the case of a crash (which is bound to happen). There is even an LED light that lets it light up the sky at night as it spins 360° creating awesome visual displays.

A USB charger is required to power it, which can reach 10 minutes of fly time on a 40 minute charge.
